In 2018, the concept for NOURMAL was born. It would be a Digital Magazine on Instagram designed to elevate our perception of the people around us. That immeasurable beauty could be found in our very backyard. Shot in an editorial fashion, Nourmal seeks to present “ordinary” people in an extraordinary light.
The publication began in 2020.
We have been in hiatus since then.
A REVIVAL.
It’s now 2026.
The rise of AI begs the question: what is Real? what is Beauty? What is the point of all of this? With a renewed purpose, Nourmal seeks to answer that question by asking another: what makes art Human?
Is it simply the ability to plug and play a prompt?
Or is there something more?
HEART NOT LIKES.
We value heart over everything, and like everything in life - good stories take time. We will post as we encounter people whose stories move or transform us, not to fulfill a post schedule.
DEATH TO PERFECTIONISM.
Nourmal exists not to serve the algorithm, but to expand human potential through art. The stories you see here are not paid actors or sponsored collaborations: they are real people we know and love whose stories are beautiful, inspiring or thought provoking.
Because at our core, we believe all humans carry a Divine DNA - the Imago Dei. When we slow down enough to listen to each other, we learn and grow deeper in love, mercy and grace.
